One shared brief, two answers

Space Shooter is the first playable game created during our UQAC exchange. Two FireStudio members built their own version of a space shooter from the same requirements, resulting in two unique experiences.

Gameplay

Shared mechanics

Free movement

The ship moves freely through the arena to keep spatial control in the player's hands.

Builds

Two versions, two visions

Two members, the same requirements, then two gameplay answers. Feel free to test both versions to compare them!

Léonardo Version

  • Bonus life awarded at 1,000 points
  • Camera follows the ship to increase immersion
  • Three asteroid types with distinct size and HP

Chloé Version

  • Varied asteroid skins for stronger visual reading
  • Special effect when the player drops to 1 HP
  • Fixed camera for a strategic arena view
